Weird stuff about me, Tag

Rain tagged me again, and I still haven’t done the previous one—anyways, here we go:

  1. I always have a song playing in my head, like background music, except when I’m sleeping. The volume turns very low when I’m talking to someone or on the phone.
  2. I’m fascinated by all things Scandinavian, especially the climate and Viking culture.
  3. I can go a few days without speaking a single word, even though I do go out on those days.
  4. I gaze endlessly at this picture almost daily, and no, I’m not suicidal or depressed.
  5. I love words that begin with the prefix “fore-” (foretold, forewarn, foreshadowed, etc.).
  6. I’ve memorized a lot of content from “Boston Legal” seasons 1-4, “Lord of the Rings” books, and “Pirates of the Caribbean” movie scripts. For the record, I’m not a fan of Narnia or Harry Potter.
  7. I’m addicted to TV, not for watching it, but I just need it on, usually muted. For example, the satellite channel has been showing “Robin Hood” on Show Cinema 3 since Friday, repeated every 2 hours. I’ve changed the channel maybe five times since then.
  8. Lately, I find myself driving to the Dead Sea after dark. There’s a public parking spot a few hundred meters past the hotels’ security checkpoint. I go there with two large cups of coffee from Dunkin’ Donuts. Sometimes I stay until dawn on weekends and drive home. Other times, I go with a friend. We either talk until we tire or we don’t utter a single word, just gazing into the blackness of the Dead Sea in front of us, listening to whatever sounds the wind might carry. Honestly, it’s a liberating activity.

Is this weird, or is it just me?
