Istanbul is a captivating city; we flew to the busy city in October, a week-long vacation.
The hotel was strategically placed in Taksim, 2 minutes from the bus stop and 30 seconds from Taksim Square.
With a couple of bus tickets, we roamed the city, all the tourist attractions, including Spice and Grand Bazaars, Suleymaniye Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Sultanahmet, amongst many others.
The constant rain there brought us immense joy, uplifting our spirits, unlike the scorching summertime in the UAE.
Aside from the awesome time visiting those places, walking for extended amounts of time under the rain, eating from kiosks on the streets, and exploring the alleys of Istanbul were the best things on this trip.
We will visit again.
